The BCA Program

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Program provides a sound academic base in computer skills and applications which is a launch platform for an advanced career or professional pursuit in IT. The students get a good conceptual grounding in computer usage and its practical business applications. The BCA program focuses on various areas of IT and prepares students for a career in the field of Information Technology. It helps those who wish to progress to pursue MCA program.

Three Years

Pass in 10+2 with aggregate marks 40% and above marks with commerce, mathematics or physics as one of the major subjects. .

Final year students awaiting results can also apply.

Program Structure
The BCA program consists of 35 courses (apart from internship)covered in six semesters spread over three years. Students are also required to do Summer Projects after completion of Year 1 and Year II respectively.

During 5th and 6th semester, students are exposed to elective courses in their respective field of specialization. The actual offering of electives will however, depend on optimal number of students opting for the same elective.
