The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Program is a 3-year campus based program offered by the University with a view to impart in-depth knowledge and broad understanding of accounting and financial management. The curriculum of BCom program provides a carefully selected subject combination of accountancy, economics, management & decision science, banking & insurance and commercial law. The program prepares the students with the knowledge, skills and attitude to meet the challenges of the modern day business organizations and also equips them to pursue MCom or MBA degree program and other professional courses further.
Pass in 10+2 in any discipline inclusive of Commerce with 40% and above aggregate marks.
Final year students awaiting results can also apply.
The program offered gives the students an exposure to the world of business and industry. The programs initiate students into the principles and practices of advanced accounting and the dynamics of management, together with banking, marketing, auditing, company law and allied disciplines.
The BCom program consists of 30 courses spread over 6 semesters in 3 years. During 6th semester, students need to do a project in an honours subject in their respective field of specialization.
Those securing 75 % marks in aggregate and minimum 60 % in all courses will be granted BCom (Hons) degree.
