Eligibility Criteria
Pass in 10+2 (any discipline) from a recognized board with aggregate marks 50% and above. Students awaiting their final examinations results can also apply.

Program Structure
The BA English (Honours) program consists of 30 courses covered in six semesters spread over three years. The students are required to take a Dissertation in VI semester. The actual choice of electives will however depend on the optimal number of students opting for the same elective. Two Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC) and 2 Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) are also the part of the curriculum. While AECC based upon the content that leads to knowledge enhancement, the SECs are value based and / or skill based. In particular, SECs like Computer Application &Project is Lab Oriented Practical paper and aimed at providing hands –on training through latest application software essential suitable and most relevant in modern research. Tailor made courses like North East Modern Literature and Eastern Himalayan Studies are very unique in this program and will be an added strength for the Students of Bhutan, Nepal, & North Eastern Himalayas Region of India.
