About the Program
The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Program provides a sound academic base in computer skills and applications which is a launch platform for an advanced career or professional pursuit in IT. The students get a good conceptual grounding in computer usage and its practical business applications. The BCA Program focuses on various areas of IT and prepares students for a career in the field of Information Technology. It helps those who wish to progress to pursue MCA Program.

Eligibility Criteria
- Pass in 10+2 (any discipline) from a recognized board with aggregate marks 50% and above. Students awaiting their final examinations results can also apply.
- Students who have studied IT, Mathematics or Commerce as a subject in 10+2 level will have an added advantage.

Program Structure
The BCA program consists of 26 courses covered in six semesters spread over three years. Students are also required to do Industrial internship during 6th semester. Students are also exposed to discipline specific elective courses in their respective field of specialization. The actual offering of electives will however, depend on optimal number of students opting for the same elective. During 5th and 6th semester, students are exposed to elective courses in their respective field of specialization.
