About the Program
The Master of Arts in English or MA (English) is a 2-year campus based program offered by the University. The MA – English Program is organized into 4 semesters in two years. Candidates are required to complete 20 courses including Core courses, Discipline Specific Electives and a Post Graduate Dissertation. Upon graduation, students will have an excellent command on the English language. By working in a stimulating environment with accomplished researchers and teachers, and also develop other skills needed for future career, such as skills in presentation, independent and group work, and project management.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with 50% and above aggregate marks. Students awaiting their final examinations results can also apply.

Program Structure
The MA in English program consists of 20 courses in four semesters spread over two years. The students are required to take 6 Discipline Elective courses spread in 4 semesters. The actual choice of electives will however depend on the optimal number of students opting for the same electives.
