Student's Participation Triumph

  • The Cultural Club student members participated in the cultural event ‘Hamro Shanskar Hamro Sankriti” at Manan Kendra organized by the Tapashree Academy on the 8th May 2022.
  • IT students received an Employment Enhancement Training Program in areas like Internet of Things (IoT) using Raspberry Pi/Arduino, Machine Learning using Python, AR/VR, Cyber Security/Forensics and Python Programming initiated by NIELIT, Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Govt. of India on the July 4th 2022. Mr. Khagendra Sharma, Scientist-D, NIELIT Gangtok Ministry of Electronics & IT initiated the session.
  • Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the ICFAI University Sikkim as a token of appreciation, distributed Certificates and cash reward to the finalists of Internal Moot Court Competition on July 22,2022.

  • IT students attended training program on Virtual Reality and Internet of Things organised by NIELIT Gangtok, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on July 22, 2022.
  • An internal quiz competition on “Electoral Process at Intra State Level” was held at the University campus organised by the Electoral office. Ms. Aradhana Chettri, BALLB (VII Semester) and Ms. Deesha Ghosh, BA Political Science, (V Semester) bagged 2nd position in the District level quiz competition held on 24th November 2022 at DAC Bhawany
  • Students from the Department of Law and Political Science participated in the District level Quiz Competition held on 29th November, 2022 and stood 2nd Position.
  • In a competition organized by District Electoral Officer Ms. Smita Kumari of BA English secured 3rd position in Open Painting Competition and Mr. Dishant Dewan of BA LLB was awarded special prize for his painting.
  • The University Entrepreneurs’ Club members headed by Prof. Gagan Gurung participated in the Interactive Session with Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industries Shri Piyush Goyal at SMIT on 18th February 2023.
  • The students of the University participated in the G20 START Up 20 SUMMIT organized by the Government of Sikkim ‘Sikkim Sabah’ on the 18th & 19th March 2023 in Gangtok. They supported the Summit by initiating as key Liaison Officers.
  • The Law students of the University participated in the Regional Moot Court competition organized by the North Bengal University, Siliguri on 25th March 2023 and bagged the ‘Winners Trophy’ with Certificate. Ms. Siksha Goyal won the Best Speaker Award.
  • The students of BHM were awarded Letter of Appreciation and stipend by the HR Manager, Mayfair Resorts Gangtok on 31st March 2023 for their dedication and extraordinary service at Mayfair during the G20 Summit.
  • Mr. Satyam Chettri, student of the ICFAI University Sikkim has been selected to represent India as a Delegate in Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) conference in Thailand.
