UG Certificate
Students who opt to exit after completion of the first year and have secured 40 credits will be awarded a UG certificate if, in addition, they complete one vocational course of 4 credits during the summer vacation of the first year. These students are allowed to re-enter the degree programme within three years and complete the degree programme within the stipulated maximum period of seven years.
UG Diploma
Students who opt to exit after completion of the second year and have secured 80 credits will be awarded the UG diploma if, in addition, they complete one vocational course of 4 credits during the summer vacation of the second year. These students are allowed to re-enter within a period of three years and complete the degree programme within the maximum period of seven years.
3-year UG Degree
Students who wish to undergo a 3-year UG programme will be awarded UG Degree in the Major discipline after successful completion of three years, securing 120 credits and satisfying the minimum credit requirements.
4-year UG Degree (Honours)
A four-year UG Honours degree in the major discipline will be awarded to those who complete a four-year degree programme with 160 credits and have satisfied the credit requirements.
4-year UG Degree (Honours with Research)
Students who secure 75% marks and above in the first six semesters and wish to undertake research at the undergraduate level can choose a research stream in the fourth year. They should do a research project or dissertation under the guidance of a faculty member of the University/College. The research project/dissertation will be in the major discipline. The students who secure 160 credits, including 12 credits from a research project/dissertation, are awarded UG Degree (Honours with Research).

Admission Modalities
The admission modalities are with reference to the full-time campus programs offered by the ICFAI University, Sikkim. All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria specified for the program and have studied in English medium in their qualifying examination are eligible to apply. Final year students awaiting results can also apply. Their admission will be provisional, subject to qualifying in the final examination. The registration and admission of these applicants is liable to be cancelled in case they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria by September 19, 2025.
Semester System
The University follows semester pattern for all its programs. Each academic year consists of two semesters. Continuous evaluation is carried out through mid-semester examinations, assignments, quizzes etc., culminating in an end semester examination. The students also have to undergo faculty supervised internships for practical training.The medium of instruction is English
Eligibility
- Pass in 10+2 (any discipline) from a recognized board with aggregate marks 50% and above.
- Students awaiting their final examination results can also apply.
- Scores of CUET UG will be an added advantage.
Registration
- All applicants having received the provisional admissions are required to present themselves with Original academic/other certificates and residence proof/HRDD Govt. of Sikkim allotment letters in case seeking fee concessions, for verification along with semester and other fees on the date of Registration.
- In addition, photocopies are also required to be submitted for retention in their record with the University. Original certificates will be returned after verification
Admission Criteria
- The selection of applicants into the UG/ PG programs of the University is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria made through screening of the applications.
- Due weightage is given to academic distinction, honors and awards in sports, cultural events, extra-curricular activities viz debates, quizzes and adventure sports.
- All applicants meeting the selection criteria will be given a provisional admission subject to verification of the documents at the time of registration and payment of fee.
Special Reservation
- There shall be a special provision for admission of applicants belonging to the State of Sikkim in any course of the ICFAI University, Sikkim, which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) per cent of seats in each course/discipline subject to the applicants meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred below.
- Seats remaining unfilled under special reservation may be filled up by allotting the same to applicants belonging to Open Category.
- The Government Quota students will be given a fee concession of 50% on program fees.
- In addition to the Government quota, seats will be reserved with fee concession for applicants from the state of Sikkim, GTA area and the nearby North Bengal region as per the mandate of the University to serve the educational needs of the state of Sikkim and the nearby areas.
Anti-ragging & Anti-sexual Harassment
The ICFAI University provides a ragging free campus. The University follows the UGC guidelines and norms regarding the anti-ragging and anti-sexual harassment policies. The students are required to submit the duly signed affidavit for Anti-ragging at the time of admission to the University.

Attested Copies of Certificates :
Applicants have to enclose attested copies of the following certificates (Attestation should be done by any Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College).
- Birth Certificate / Class X Certificate
- Marksheets of Class XII / Degree Certificates (as may be applicable)
- Fee concession (if applicable) requisite documents to be attached.
- Nationality Certificate/Proof, for foreign students only.
- Other certificates pertaining to academic and extra curricularactivities.

Admission Fee
Admission Fee (One Time) of ₹3,000/- for all programs is to be paid by all the students along with the application forms.
Exam Fee
All the students need to pay an amount of ₹2,000/- per semester for UG & PG programs towards Exam Fee along with the Program Fee.
Caution Deposit
All students are required to pay a Caution Deposit (One Time) of ₹5,000/- along with the First Semester Fee. The Caution Deposit will be refunded without interest and after adjusting for dues, if any, to the students on completion of the Program.

Merit Scholarships
The ICFAI University Sikkim offers merit scholarships to students pursuing the UG & PG Programs. The scholarships are based on performance in Class XII (or equivalent)/ Graduation (or equivalent) and Semester-wise performance during the Program.
A. Merit Scholarships based on past academic record: Percentage of marks achieved in qualifying examination will decide the amount of scholarship. The Scholarship amount will be awarded in 2 equal instalments i.e. in the first and second semester of the program. The second instalment of the scholarship will be awarded on securing a minimum 8.00 GPA in the first semester. The students availing 50% program fee concession (i.e., Govt. Quota students) will not be eligible for scholarships based on Past Academic Record. However, they will be eligible for scholarships based on semester-wise performance. The scholarship details are as presented in the following table.

B. Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance: Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships based on their Semester-wise performance (Details presented in the table given below). These scholarships are offered in addition to the scholarships based on the past academic record.
